About Einlings

Einlings is a browser-based puzzle game created by Ein Andersson. The browser runs the game simulation with WebAssembly, while JavaScript handles the interface, input, graphics, and sound.

The project is inspired by DHTML Lemmings by crisp. It retains selected original levels, media, and adapted gameplay code. Their attribution and license notices are included with the project.

Server-side verification

When you are signed in and complete a supported run, the browser can submit its recorded gameplay actions to the server. The server replays those actions through the same versioned WebAssembly game engine, without waiting for real time or drawing frames. It calculates the outcome itself before accepting verified progress or records.

This checks that the submitted actions produce a valid result under the game rules. It does not prove that a human played the run or prevent automation. Guests can play locally, including offline, but their runs are not server-verified.

About the creator

I'm Ein Andersson, the creator of Einlings. I'm developing it as a modern browser game, with the aim of keeping the familiar puzzle gameplay while moving the experience onto a current web platform.
